When developing the new software product for monitoring the performed work and the time spent by executors and their customers our framework for test automation – XML2Selenium has been successfully implemented. This framework was used for testing the user interface as well as for writing integration tests. This allows to reduce the manual testers’ work significantly and still be confident in the system safety and its proper integration with multiple third-party business systems. While managers and project coordinators thanks to easy-to-read XML2Selenium reports could easily be synchronized with the developers, could understand the level of test coverage and obtain information about the presence of bugs.
